Unclaimed Funds

Unclaimed funds are monies deposited with the court by a case trustee pursuant to §347, Title 11 of the United States Code. Generally, these monies are unclaimed because the trustee does not have a current address for the creditor. Funds may be claimed pursuant to §2042, Title 28 of the United States Code.
