The Judicial Conference approved two amendments to the EPA fee schedule to adjust for inflation - the records search($30) and returned check fees ($53).  These changes became effective on October 1, 2012.

The Judicial Conference approved amendments to three fees in the bankruptcy court miscellaneous fee schedule to correspond with an increase in Chapter 11 filing fee (from $1,000 to $1,167) mandated by the Temporary Bankruptcy Judgeships Extension Act.  The fees are: filing a motion to reopen a Ch. 11 case; filing a case under Ch. 15; filing a motion by debtor to divide a joint Ch. 11 case.  The changes become effective on November 21, 2012.
