CHANGE IN FILING PROCEDURES FOR CHAPTER 13 PLANS
Change in Filing Procedures for Chapter 13 Plans: The Court's preference is for attorneys to file a chapter 13 plan after the chapter 13 petition has been uploaded (filed as a separate event). By uploading the plan separately from the petition, you can be sure that requirements of LBR 3015(b) will be satisfied (serving all parties on the master mailing list). Although the option to include the plan when uploading the petition is still available with your software, the master mailing list will not be complete if you do so (preferred creditor addresses, etc.), therefore, the Court prefers the plan to be filed as a separate entry.
