BEAUMONT DOCKET WEEK CANCELED and FILING DEADLINES EXTENDED DUE TO HURRICANE IKE
By order of Chief Judge Bill Parker, all hearings and trials scheduled to be conducted in Beaumont on September 23-26, 2008 have been continued by the Court due to the unavailability of facilities and other ramifications of Hurricane Ike:
All Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 matters scheduled for hearing on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 have been continued to the same time on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 in Lufkin.
At the request of the Chapter 13 Trustee, all Chapter 13 matters scheduled for hearing on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 have been continued to the same time on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 in Lufkin.
LUFKIN DIVISION CASES ONLY: All filing deadlines imposed by the Bankruptcy Code or the Federal or Local Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, or any separate order of the Court, in cases in the Lufkin Division have been extended until Friday, September 26, 2008.
BEAUMONT DIVISION CASES ONLY: All filing deadlines imposed by the Bankruptcy Code or the Federal or Local Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure, or any separate order of the Court, in cases in the Beaumont Division have been extended until Tuesday, October 7, 2008.
Issues regarding the continuation or imposition of the automatic stay or regarding the credit counseling requirement shall be handled on an ad hoc basis.
