THE TIME FRAMES ON DISCHARGING A BAPCPA CHAPTER 13 CASE HAVE BEEN AMENDED, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.

Outside the scope of local rule revision, the time frames on discharging a BAPCPA chapter 13 case have been amended, effective immediately. The revisions do not change the procedure, just the deadlines. The most important deadline change to be aware of is that BAPCPA cases will not receive a discharge until 60 days after the Notice of Plan Completion is served; pre-BAPCPA cases will still be discharged 30 days after the filing, as always.
