Judges
The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Texas is served by two judges.
Chief Judge Brenda Rhoades presides in cases arising in the Sherman and Texarkana divisions. Hearings in Sherman cases are conducted in Plano. Hearings in Texarkana cases are conducted in Texarkana.
Judge Bill Parker presides in cases arising in the Beaumont, Lufkin, Marshall and Tyler divisions. Hearings in Marshall and Tyler cases are conducted in Tyler. Hearings in Beaumont and Lufkin cases are conducted in both locations. Parties should consult the applicable hearing notice or the "Beaumont Scheduling" link on Judge Parker's calendar page to determine the location of hearings for cases in those divisions in any particular month
